As of July 13, 2025, the price of the Forever stamp has gone up yet again. The 5-cent price increase means customers will now have to pay 78 cents instead of the 73-cent price that was put into effect last summer. But stamps aren’t the only USPS product that will now cost more. Here are the other increases:
Stamp prices are on the rise again. The U.S. Postal Service is increasing the price of Forever stamps from 60 cents to 63 cents, starting Jan. 22.
USPS Is Planning Another Above-Inflation Rate Increase in July Prices just went up in January, but the Postal Service is seeking an even larger increase this summer.
If you prefer sending postcards, that will now cost you 61 cents a piece, up from 56 cents. Postcards and letters traveling internationally will cost $1.70, up from $1.65. “USPS prices remain among the most affordable in the world,” the agency said in April.
The cost of a Forever is not forever, as the price has risen yet again. The cost of a Forever stamp is now up to 78 cents, with the new price set on July 13. The previous price for a Forever stamp was 73 cents, USA Today reported.
Changes require approval by the Postal Regulatory Commission. If that happens, mailing service product prices would increase by 7.4% this summer.
