Despite two losses to close the 2025 season, the Texas A&M Aggies are trending in the right direction under head coach Mike Elko.
The 11th AP Top 25 poll of the 2025-26 college basketball season was released Monday, and for the first time, there is a unanimous No. 1 team. Arizona (18-0) received all 61 first-place votes this week after picking up wins over Arizona State and UCF and remained in the top spot for the sixth consecutive week.

AP Poll Analysis: Week 12
We’re down to three, but they’re all ranked now with Miami-OH cracking the poll at #25 at 19-0. Thus, the “survivor series” is coming down to Arizona from the Big 12, Nebraska from the Big Ten, and Miami-OH from the MAC. Let’s take a look at them and everybody else in the Week 12 AP poll:
Some other notable shifts in the Big 12 include BYU finishing ranked 11th, Texas Tech finishing 7th, Utah finishing 14th, Houston finishing 22nd and TCU finishing 25th. Arizona received 54 votes for the final rankings, but it wasn’t enough to keep them in the top 25.
Iowa cracked the top 10 for the first time in two years and UConn remained the unanimous No. 1 choice in The Associated Press Top 25 women’s basketball poll released Monday. The Hawkeyes last were ranked this high in the final poll of Caitlin Clark’s senior year.
