The suspect in the murder of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk was identified by Orem Police on Wednesday evening as Tyler Robinson.

President Donald Trump said how slain conservative activist Charlie Kirk was seen as "son" to him him during an interview with Fox News Channel on Friday.

Charlie Kirk was more than just another MAGA ally to Donald Trump and his aides. The 31-year-old conservative was close to many in the White House.

Tyler Robinson, 22, had become “more political” in the run-up to the shooting and had indicated to a family friend afterward that he was responsible.
