Elmo's account on X was hacked over the weekend and called for the release of the releae of the Epstein Files and violence against Jews.

It seems Elmo's world recently included vitriolic racist and antisemitic social media posts. Sesame Workshop says it seeks to restore control over the beloved puppet's X page.

The X/Twitter account of beloved children’s show icon Elmo was hacked in the early hours of Sunday morning. In now-deleted tweets, the hacker made a number of antisemitic posts, including “all Jews should die,” “Jews control the world and need to be exterminated,” and “Donald Trump is Netanyahu’s puppet.”

Horrific posts on the "Sesame Street" character's X account only remained online for a short period, but still went viral.
