Though the motive behind University of Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger's violent attack remains unknown, the former police chief says "new information could come out still."

Despite Kohberger's guilty plea in the Idaho murders, investigators still don't know his motive, who he targeted or where the murder weapon is after he covered his tracks.

The hearing is set to begin at 9 a.m. Mountain Time on Wednesday, July 23, at the Ada County Courthouse in in Boise, Idaho.
