The Michigan Wolverines pulled away from the Washington Huskies in a Week 8 college football game in the Big Ten. Here are the highlights.

Michigan State could never get anything going consistently against the Hoosiers' front seven. With Chiles' long, outlier scamper and sacks filtered out, the Spartans only had 42 rushing yards on 19 attempts. That's just 2.2 yards per carry.

"This is, you know, our hometown, Michigan, so it's like a state champ," Michigan football offensive lineman Gio El-Hadi. "This is for the title."

It's rivalry week for the Spartans, and they'll have to prove the computers wrong if they're going to bring Paul Bunyan back home.

The University of Michigan climbed one spot to No. 3, as Boston University slid to No. 4. All of the top three teams in this week’s poll (Michigan State, Western Michigan, Michigan) hail from the state of Michigan. No. 3 Michigan and No. 2 Western Michigan will play a home-and-home this week, Thursday in Ann Arbor and Friday in Kalamazoo.
