Massachusetts State Police said they're prepared for the crowds expected at the No Kings rallies in and around Boston on Saturday.

The protests, put on by distinct grassroots organizers, are associated with the “No Kings” movement, which saw demonstrations in all 50 states on June 14. In response to the Trump administration’s continued crackdown on immigration and what organizers says is a "lawless federal regime" protestors are once again rallying together.

On Saturday, “No Kings” protests will be happening across the U.S., including throughout Massachusetts. The “No Kings” movement is a “peaceful national day of action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration,

The nationwide day of defiance is expected to draw thousands in Boston, with hundreds of other Massachusetts cities and towns also joining in.
