Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth created another Signal messaging chat that included his wife and brother where he shared similar details of a March military airstrike against Yemen’s Houthi militants that were sent in another chain with top Trump administration leaders.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth said “disgruntled” former employees who were fired last week were behind the news that he allegedly shared sensitive information in a second, unreported Signal group chat.

The news comes about a month after the editor-in-chief of The Atlantic was mistakenly added to a separate Signal chat with national security leaders.
