The Washington Commanders could use some help in both departments, and will have some good things to look back on from the NFL Scouting Combine.

Many draft experts expect the incoming running back class to be one of the best in recent history, and they certainly backed that sentiment up with their workouts Saturday. So much so that there was a Combine record of 14 RBs that ran a 4.5 or faster in their 40-yard dashes.

The running back group cruised through the 40-yard dash Saturday in Indianapolis. Skill positions hit the field Saturday for on-field workouts at the 2025 NFL scouting combine. Running backs started the party, with the quarterbacks and wide receivers to follow.

The on-field aspect of the 2025 NFL Combine came to an end on Sunday, when the offensive linemen took to the field. The Combine admittedly favors lighter, more athletic offensive linemen due to its agility-heavy nature it displays through its drills.
