Shohei Ohtani had three hits, and his three-run homer capped a six-run ninth inning as the Los Angeles Dodgers rallied for a 14-11 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in Phoenix on Friday.

The Dodgers and Diamondbacks played one of the wildest games of the season in the desert, combining for 25 runs, 26 hits, two blown leads of at least three runs and six homers.

The Dodgers lost 5-3 as Yoshinobu Yamamoto was uncharacteristically sloppy on the mound. Shohei Ohtani went 1-for-5 with a home run and now stands alone in some unique baseball history.
