During Sunday night's 20-10 win over the Falcons, San Francisco defensive end Bryce Huff suffered a hamstring injury, coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed on Monday. Shanahan noted that Huff shouldn't be out longer than two weeks, he hopes. At least it wasn't a season-ending injury.
San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy has missed five games this season with a nagging turf toe injury, and it's still unclear how close he is to returning.
Huff will miss a game or two, while quarterback Brock Purdy is "a reach" to return from his toe injury in Week 8.
San Francisco lost Brendel to a hamstring injury and Green to a toe injury. Typically, hamstrings will be multiple-week injuries, and Brendel was declared out early into the game, so there is a good chance the team will be without him in Week 8.
