On Jan. 9, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) announced that two legacy stored value cards, EZ-Link and NETS FlashPay, would no longer be used to pay for public transport fares starting from June.
From June 1, passengers will not be able to use older ez-link cards that are not on the SimplyGo platform or Nets FlashPay cards to pay for their fares on public buses and trains.
The conversion is free and can be done at selected ticketing machines in all MRT stations and bus interchanges.
