HONOLULU (KHON2) – Two players with Hawaiʻi ties made an impact for Ole Miss this week. De’Zhaun Stribling, a former Kapolei High School standout, recorded three receptions for 96 yards and one touchdown in the Rebels’ 48–35 loss to Georgia.

The SEC takes notice after QB Gunner Stockton leads the the Georgia Bulldogs to an upset over Ole Miss at Sanford Stadium.

Bulldogs quarterback Gunner Stockton passed for 289 yards and four touchdowns, and the Bulldogs overcame a nine-point deficit entering the fourth quarter. Tight end Lawson Luckie had three touchdown catches, including the go-ahead score with 7:33 to play.

Georgia opens the game with a 3-0 lead following a 51-yard field goal from Peyton Woodring. The Bulldogs' drive falls apart late after an offensive pass interference in Ole Miss territory. Gunner Stockton completes 3 of 3 passes for 45 yards on the drive.

Though Georgia's defense got tossed around for a majority of its Week 8 game against Ole Miss, the Bulldogs buckled down and made the stops they had to to secure a 35-33 win against the Rebels. After surrendering a touchdown on each of Ole Miss' first five drives, the Bulldogs did not let Ole Miss score in the fourth quarter.
