Though Georgia's defense got tossed around for a majority of its Week 8 game against Ole Miss, the Bulldogs buckled down and made the stops they had to to secure a 35-33 win against the Rebels. After surrendering a touchdown on each of Ole Miss' first five drives, the Bulldogs did not let Ole Miss score in the fourth quarter.

Kiffin is 5-6 against top-10 ranked teams at Ole Miss, although he has won three of his last four such games, dating back to the Rebels' Peach Bowl win over Penn State in 2023. Moreover, he is 4-4 against top-10 opponents when the Rebels are also ranked.
