An avalanche in Pakistan and snowstorms in neighboring Afghanistan kill at least 20 people
ISLAMABAD (AP) — An avalanche killed nine members of a single family in northwestern Pakistan on Friday while a heavy snowstorm the day before in neighboring Afghanistan left 11 people dead, officials said.
