DALLAS (AP) — Jaron Pierre Jr. scored 25 points and Boopie Miller had 23 points with nine assists as SMU beat No. 21 Louisville 95-85 on Tuesday night, ending the Cardinals' five-game winning streak.

No. 21 Louisville's five-game win streak ended Tuesday night in Dallas, with SMU handing the Cardinals their first loss since January.It was a high-scoring affair between the Cardinals and Mustangs, with SMU leading 52-49 at the half.

From the moment the ball was tipped, Louisville could not establish any defensive presence. They allowed SMU to shoot 58.5 percent from the field, which was their highest opponent shooting percentage allowed in Kelsey's two years at the helm. Their 95 points allowed was also a Kelsey-era worst.

SMU football will play two future home games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington instead of Gerald J. Ford Stadium. The Mustangs will host Oklahoma in Sept. 2027 and LSU in Sept 2029 at the home of the Cowboys. SMU previously played their home games at Texas Stadium, the former home of the Cowboys, from 1979 to 1986.

The 2027 Oklahoma football game against SMU has been moved to AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, a venue where the Sooners have a strong winning record.
