Different story, same outcome for Auburn versus Missouri
On Saturday night, it was a different story for Auburn but the same outcome. Mizzou broke through for five sacks of Auburn QB Jackson Arnold. The Tigers also had nine tackles for losses totalling 43 yards. Toriano Pride had an early interception, Arnold's first pick since September 2024.
After both teams missed field goals in the first overtime, Beau Pribula’s 3-yard touchdown run in the second period gave Missouri (6-1, 2-1 SEC) the lead for good. Auburn (3-4, 0-4) then turned the ball over on downs to end the game.
