Noel Gallagher and Meg Mathews, who share 25-year-old daughter Anaïs, were married from 1997 to 2001. After Mathews was seen leaving Oasis' first reunion show early, she spoke out about the move on Instagram.

During Saturday night's second show at Principality Stadium in Cardiff the band's co-founder gave props to his longtime bandmate.

Mathews had gone to see Oasis on the opening night of their first tour since 2009 in Cardiff, Wales, and she posted on social media that she was having a great time. The issue occurred during the encore, and specifically during the band's performance of "Wonderwall," she left.
