The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reviewed the overall security situation in Jammu & Kashmir in the wake of the terror attack in Pahalgam.

The warning came after the Pakistan’s unprovoked small arms firing along the LoC for several days after the deadly Pahalgam terror attack of last week.

Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam terrorist attack, the United States has stated that it is in communication with both nations at various levels, urging them to pursue a responsible resolution.
