The San Francisco 49ers aren't wasting time when it comes to replacing Ricky Pearsall in their offense. According to multiple reports, Pearsall is still dealing with swelling in his knee due to a PCL injury from the 2025 season.

Ricky Pearsall will have surgery on a problematic left knee and is out for the 2026 season. He played at ASU and Corona del Sol High.

49ers general manager John Lynch said that Pearsall will have season-ending knee surgery and could be out until almost the beginning of 2027 training camp. Pearsall was still recovering from a PCL issue that had been off and on since Week 4 of last season, when he first injured it in a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars.
