A South Carolina death row inmate is set to be executed on Friday, March 7. Instead of the more traditional lethal injection, the inmate—Brad Sigmon, 67—has chosen to die by firing squad, a method that has only been performed three times in the last 49 years.

Oklahoma City police have responded to two homicides this week. Just before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, police responded to a shooting call in the 1700 block of Homa Avenue. Officers found Henry Solomon Jr., 36, critically wounded. Solomon was transported to OU Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
