On a recent episode of TSN Insider Trading, Darren Dreger reported that a Schenn trade is less likely to occur with the Blues being back in the playoff race.

TSN hockey insider Darren Dreger was on "First Up" on Monday morning and was asked how that could affect the possibility of Schenn being traded this week. He said (3:28):

Schenn, 33, has appeared in 61 games this season with the Blues, where he has 12 goals, 37 points, and 151 hits. The Blues captain is also signed until the completion of the 2027-28 season, carrying a $6.5 million cap hit.
