Jayden Daniels pieced together one of the best rookie seasons from a quarterback in NFL history and with a bright future in front of him, his rivals are feeling the pressure of dealing with him over the next 15 years.

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was in attendance for the 2025 NFL Honors on Thursday night, and while strolling the red carpet, he gave a very honest answer when asked about Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels. "I get sick when I think [about how] the Cowboys have gotta play him twice a year for the rest of his career," Jones said.

Jones was asked about the Commanders rookie quarterback ahead of Thursday's NFL Honors from New Orleans. Daniels, who led the Commanders to the franchise's first NFC title game appearance in 33 years, was the runaway winner of the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award .

Jerry Jones has already had enough of one opponent who the Dallas Cowboys are going to be facing for the foreseeable future.

Jerry Jones said he decided to hire Brian Schottenheimer as Dallas' coach and sign quarterback Dak Prescott to a $240 million, four-year contract because the Cowboys are in a win-now mode and should be competing for Super Bowls.
