The ‘Maria’ star accepted the Maltin Modern Master Award from Ava DuVernay at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

During a conversation with critic Leonard Maltin at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival on Wednesday, Angelina Jolie -- the actress -- who accepted the Maltin Modern Master Award -- got candid about her family's history with the Academy Awards.

The 49-year-old actress began by recalling the year her father, Jon Voight, won the Academy Award for Best Actor for 'Coming Home' in 1979.
