Microsoft is adding screenshot prevention controls to Edge. It’s all designed to prevent you from sharing screenshots with competitors, relatives, and journalists using Microsoft Edge for Business.

Microsoft is rolling out Edge 122 to all users in the Stable Channel. The latest release of Microsoft's PC desktop browser renames the Web Capture feature to Screenshot, along with more changes.

Edge uses multiple built-in services to make your browsing experience better. However, some are rather odd: an upcoming update will enable Edge to take screenshots of websites you visit.

Screenshot: Microsoft . Microsoft Edge for the desktop comes with a screenshot tool integrated into the browser, so getting a screengrab isn’t difficult.

The Edge screenshots are all intended for internal Microsoft use only, indicating that Microsoft isn't (and may not ever be) ready to test this feature in public.
