In the afternoon window, No. 9 Georgia overcame a stiff challenge from No. 5 Ole Miss in an SEC shootout. Then Arizona State pulled off a surprise, holding off a late charge by No. 7 Texas Tech to win their Big 12 clash.

Bulldogs quarterback Gunner Stockton passed for 289 yards and four touchdowns, and the Bulldogs overcame a nine-point deficit entering the fourth quarter. Tight end Lawson Luckie had three touchdown catches, including the go-ahead score with 7:33 to play.

The SEC on Monday announced its kickoff times and TV information for Week 10, games of Nov. 1. Twelve of 16 SEC teams are in action that week, with the top games including Florida vs. Georgia in Jacksonville, Oklahoma at Tennessee and Vanderbilt at Texas. Alabama, LSU, Missouri and Texas A&M have open dates.

A win for Ole Miss would give the Rebels an inside track to their first ever appearance in the game. They're already 3-0 in conference play, and given what's left on their schedule, they'd have a good shot of getting through conference play with only one loss.
