The Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday reviewed the overall security situation in Jammu & Kashmir in the wake of the terror attack in Pahalgam.

Pakistan's statement came hours after Prime Minister Narendra Modi told the top defence brass that the armed forces have "complete operational freedom" to decide on the mode, targets and timing of India's response to the Pahalgam terror attack.

The national carrier of Pakistan on Wednesday cancelled all flights to and from Gilgit, Skardu and other northern areas in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir due to security reasons, reports news agency PTI quoting local media reports.
