At 3:58 p.m., the National Weather Service issued a Tornado Watch for counties to the west and northwest of the Metroplex. The watch includes Jack, Montague, Stephens, and Young counties and will remain in effect until 11 p.m. Monday. For DFW, it appears any storms Monday night and/or Tuesday would be isolated.

In the afternoon and evening, isolated storms could become intense fast, with very large hail, destructive wind gusts and even tornadoes possible. Southeastern Minnesota, including the Twin Cities, is under a moderate risk for severe weather.
