With Amazon's annual Prime Day sales event right around the corner, competing retailers are turning up the heat on their own sales to lure shoppers away - which is why Walmart just announced "Walmart Deals," one of its largest sales of the year.

The annual Walmart Deals event is here, bringing shoppers some competitive prices to those offered by Amazon on Prime Day — whether it’s laptops, coffee makers, patio furniture or kitchen appliances. The sale is featuring up to 50% off a number of items, with free shipping on many of the deals.
