Jayden Daniels suffered a hamstring injury in the third quarter of Saturday’s road game against the Dallas Cowboys and did not return. Backup Marcus Mariota relieved Daniels and finished 4-of-10 for 63 yards, an interception and 34 rushing yards in the 44-22 loss.
As the Cowboys now sit at 3-3-1 in head coach Brian Schottenheimer’s first season in charge, owner Jerry Jones spoke very highly of his Sunday performance. “To me, last week was about as good a coaching job as I’ve been around since I don’t know when,” Jones said on 1053thefan.
