Rep. Seth Moulton, D-Mass., on Wednesday announced that he would challenge Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass., in the 2026 Democratic primary, calling for a generational change in leadership. Moulton previously sought the 2020 Democratic presidential nomination, but lost out to President Joe Biden. Markey, for his part, has held the seat since 2013.
