A flood watch issued by the National Weather Service remains in effect until 7 p.m. KERRVILLE, Texas - Authorities have suspended all ground search operations in the Kerrville and Hunt on Sunday corridor due to dangerous flood conditions.
The latest death count from the July 4 flash flood event in Texas is up to 129 with more than 170 people still missing.
At least 161 are still unaccounted for after the July Fourth floods that saw the waters of the Guadalupe rise to historic levels in Central Texas, officials with Kerr County said Friday. Authorities have confirmed 103 deaths, 36 of whom are children.
