The premiere this November at Chicago’s Lyric Opera will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the sweeping album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

Pumpkins' lead singer Billy Corgan will be joined by Lyric's orchestra, chorus and as a group of operatically trained soloists for a "musical-dramatic experience” based on music from the band's famed album “Mellon Collie and Infinite Sadness.
