Michigan head coach Sherrone Moore provided injury updates on junior offensive lineman Evan Link and star junior running back Justice Haynes following the Wolverines’ 24-7 win over Washington on Saturday.
Michigan is in its second season with Sherrone Moore as the full-time head coach. So far under his watch, the Wolverines are 13-7, though UM beat CMU and Nebraska while Moore was on suspension this season.
Turns out, it was Marshall’s 14-yard touchdown run with 1:20 to play in the third quarter that proved to be the difference. Michigan’s defense ruled the day, limiting Washington and its high-powered offense to just 249 yards of offense, much of that coming in the first half.
