Michigan State heads back on the road next week and it will be another mid-afternoon kickoff. The Spartans (3-4, 0-4 Big Ten) play at Minnesota (5-2, 3-1) on Nov. 1 and that game will start at 3:30 p.m. ET and be broadcast by BTN, the conference announced on Monday.

Michigan State football QB Aidan Chiles learned all about the Michigan rivalry last year. Saturday will be Wolverines freshman Bryce Underwood's turn.

Here are the top five offensive players in the game: Chiles had a nice bounce back performance against Indiana, after a couple of abysmal weeks. He completed 82% of his passes for 243 yards, adding 48 yards on the ground. The freshman got his first taste of game action, catching a pass for eight yards.

The Michigan Wolverines are 5-2 on the season coming off of a solid home win over the Washington Huskies at Michigan Stadium and scheduled to face Jonathan Smith's 3-4 Michigan State Spartans at Spartan Stadium at 7:30 p.

Jonathan Smith learned about the bitterness of the Michigan State football rivalry with Michigan last year. The coach hopes to use it as fuel.

"This is, you know, our hometown, Michigan, so it's like a state champ," Michigan football offensive lineman Gio El-Hadi. "This is for the title."

Michigan Wolverines head coach Sherrone Moore highlighted key player developments and preparations for the upcoming rivalry game against Michigan State.

The Wolverines have won the last three meetings, and are double-digit favorites to win Saturday's game in East Lansing.
