Jacksonville Jaguars rookie cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter has seen his life change in some big ways this season.

The Jacksonville Jaguars want to get Travis Hunter more opportunities on offense moving forward. This is something that head coach Liam Coen discussed ahead of the Jaguars ' Week 7 game with the LA Rams.

Jaguars two-way rookie Travis Hunter said his life was changed after getting baptized Sunday, hours before the team’s loss to the Seahawks, 20-12, in Jacksonville. Hunter, 22, who plays wide receiver and defensive back, was baptized at Celebration Church in Jacksonville, Fla., as seen in a video shared by Kristine Love.

Travis Hunter suited up for the Jacksonville Jaguars against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. But he dropped by a local church to get baptized first.

An Instagram user by the name of Kristine Love took footage of Hunter giving his life to Christ just hours before he had an NFL game to play in. Love says she was running late for church, and was grateful that she was because it allowed for her to be able to witness Travis Hunter taking a huge step in his life and in his faith:

Travis Hunter took a step of faith that went beyond football on Sunday morning. Hours before the Jacksonville Jaguars' matchup with Seattle, the rookie wideout was baptized at Celebration Church, publicly declaring his commitment to Christ before suiting up for the game.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are desperately seeking more consistency and explosiveness from their offense. They might already have the answer in-house.
