UEFA, European soccer’s 55-member governing body, is set to boycott the World Cup and all other FIFA-organized competitions in protest of a $20 billion Wall Street-style takeover of the global game, sources familiar with the matter told The Post.

FIFA’s proposed plan to sell private stakes in upcoming World Cup tournaments that sparked backlash from fans and soccer associations around the world has been scrapped, FIFA president Gianni Infantino said in a statement Friday.

Europe's football associations have unanimously threatened to boycott the World Cup if FIFA goes ahead with a planned deal to sell commercial rights to private investors, UEFA said after an emergency meeting on Thursday.
