Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has accused Russia of trying to create an 'impression of a ceasefire,' saying Russian forces continued attacks after President Vladimir Putin’s declaration of an Easter truce.

Ukraine said it has recorded hundreds of instances of Russian shelling since Russian President Vladimir Putin declared a brief Easter ceasefire in his war with Ukraine on Saturday.

In a post on X today Zelensky said the Russian army was “trying to create a general impression of a ceasefire”
