There's a series of of JRPGs known as Tengai Makyou (or Far East of Eden in English) which started on the PC-Engine and had a few games released for that platform.

Its a little dated, but old school RPG fans should enjoy it. Essentially this is the PC Engine's response to the original NES Zelda, with a very similar theme and gameplay style.
