The tag on it says it’s from morocco, khouribga, and the age is Eocene, Cenozoic. I found it when I was cleaning my room last week, and I started trying to identify them.

Aug 4, 2014 · These are some more teeth that I am not positive on the identifications. All of these teeth were found at North Myrtle Beach, SC. 1) This tooth is about a centimeter in length. I have no idea what it could be. 2) I'm thinking this could be a lemon shark tooth, but I'm very unfamiliar with lemon shark teeth. 3) Another tooth I am not sure of.

Oct 11, 2018 · The teeth pictured appear to include Striatolamna, Odontaspis, Carcharias, (all species of sand tiger sharks) and perhaps also Anomotodon (goblin shark). It can be incredibly difficult to distinguish teeth from this time period, especially if worn or broken, as they are often very similar in structure.

Posted February 18, 2017. I recently acquired some bulk samples of shark teeth from Morocco. Quite a lot of them appear to be Sand Tigers or Sand sharks (Odontaspididae). I'm working on collecting references to ID these teeth before assembling tooth sets. Since teeth from Morocco are so common, I thought this would be a useful resource for others.

My understanding is that shark teeth can be difficult to ID down to exact species, but am curious nonetheless (my guess for the bigger one was bull, other two mako or lemon).
