I don’t know if many of you know this, but my family “The Carter Family”used to have a gospel quartet, traveling and singing all across the South. Some of my fondest memories come from those days, especially hearing my uncle Purnell Highsmith sing a song called The Family Bible. Even now, every time I think back on it, I’m reminded of just how much truth is still in those words today. Some things never lose their meaning. #gospel | Lloyd Carter Music
