Garden Edging 101: Ideas and Tips for DIY Installation

Steel edging is the best edging. The plastic composite stuff is cheap, but it doesn’t last long. It expands and contracts with temperature changes and rarely lasts more than a few years. Concrete is better because it holds up better. But it’s a dated material imo. Especially the high low style. I really dig steel because it’s ultra durable and gives really clean lines. The stuff I use comes in 1/8” for curves or 3/16” for strait runs. Powder coated black. And comes with the stakes. | Landscaping
