🐊A two metre saltwater crocodile has been spotted within the canals of the Exmouth Marina. The Exmouth Shire has closed Town Beach and Mcleod Beach, and is working with Parks and Wildlife Service rangers who are patrolling the area. Warning signs have been posted at surrounding beaches. UPDATE: Shire of Exmouth authorities have confirmed the closure of McLeod and Town Beaches. A saltwater crocodile has been sighted again in the Exmouth Marina early this morning. 🐊 The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions has confirmed the sighting and says they are preparing to deploy a crocodile trap today.
