No charges were filed. 🚫⚖️ As many of you know, there was an overwhelming response from the community identifying the driver in the viral video from June 2023 along the Coeur d'Alene River. We confirmed with Idaho Fish and Game in July of '23 that charges were submitted to the Shoshone County Prosecutor for review. However, the Prosecutor decided not to file charges against the driver. North Idaho College Student Services and NIC Athletics teamed up to provide pre-packaged meal boxes in a drive-thru food pickup event earlier this month in the DeArmond Building parking lot. The boxes contained five days of meals for two people. Boxes included items like canned soup, bread, and pasta and were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis to any student or employee navigating food insecurity. In an hour and 15 minutes, volunteers gave out 52 boxes, each containing 30 meals. NIC
