Poole lifeboat launched at 4pm Saturday in strong winds and rough seas after a person was thought to be in difficulty in the sea between Sandbanks and Bournemouth Pier. Arriving on scene the lifeboat commenced a search in 2-3 meter breaking waves. With conditions worsening and light fading Swanage Lifeboat was requested to launch. Fraserburgh RNLI Night Exercise with Viper1 Helicopter Fraserburgh Lifeboat had a night training exercise with Viper1 Helicopter on Thursday evening and in the fading light and approaching darkness they went through their paces in sight of Kinnaird Head on Thursday 18th September 2025.
