Last year we held our first High-Altitude Balloon Challenge for Civil Air Patrol cadets. The top team earned a $5,000 grant. CAP cadets develop as many science experiments as will fit into a 50-milliliter capsule weighing no more than 40 grams and send them into the stratosphere.
